Umar bin Abd-al Aziz, al Khalifat as-Salih, was the 8th of the Umayyad Caliphs who followed the example of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He saught no worldly gain and his sole purpose was to implement the law of Allah, as embodied in the Shari'ah.
