This workbook is a companion to IQRA's textbook of Islamic social studies: The History of Al-Khalifah Ar-Rashidah (textbook).  It is part of the social studies syllabus for Grade Seven.  This workbook, like all other IQRA workbooks, is an integral part of our program of Islamic studies and we highly recommend its use along with the textbook.  This workbook has been developed using recent research in the field of brain development and learning theories.  One important feature of this workbook is its integration of Qur'anic studies into each lesson.  Such integration will help students visualize the importance of applying the sacred text in their daily activities.  We hope that this course on the history of the successors of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) will inspire students to follow in their footsteps, inshaAllah!
